Bikan Historic Area, Kurashiki

I woke up before my alarm went off, got ready, had breakfast and after saying goodbye to everyone, I left for the station with the British guys. I took the train later than planned and arrived in Kurashiki at 9:30. I went straight to the Bikan Historic Area via the shoutengai, a very nice and quiet route.

On my way to the Historic Area, I surprisingly ran into the two Japanese guys that stayed at the same hostel. Such a coincidence! After a chat, we went our own ways again.

The way they’re using the old distract as normal living/shopping area without losing much of the authentic feel was great!
