Views from the train (Hagi-Matsue)

Let me share with you the beautiful views from the trains between Hagi and Matsue (main island’s east coast)!

Mountains, beaches, rocky cliffs, countryside, sea towns, … It was so very amazing! Why take a shinkansen from Fukuoka to Kyoto if you can have these beautiful views?!

Here’s part one, of the 88-minute ride between Hagi and Masuda:

How cute is this little train station?! And I took a picture of the timetable to show how very few trains stop here in a day! We complain about the timetables in Belgium, but they can’t compare to the service here… (wait for the timetable at Masuda, that’s even worse)

I wasn’t the only one with camera in hand the whole ride! 😉

In the next two pictures you can see how close we were to the see. In the second picture, that rectangle shadow is our ‘wanman’ train car! ^^ And just look at how clear the water is!
