Kyoto: first photo walk (part II)

The next part of my walk brought me to the traditional area in and near Gion, and after that to Yasaka Jinja and the park behind it. From the park, it’s just a short walk to Kiyomizu-dera and the busy streets in front of it. Our guesthouse was located near all these fantastic places, only 10 minutes walking from Kiyomizu-dera, 15-20 from Yasaka Jinja and Gion. It was the perfect location for nice walks and to see many great temples and shrines. The streets of Kyoto are also incredibly easy to navigate, because they’re a grid so you can explore without having to worry about getting lost. 😉
